1. A method for a user equipment (UE) 1× tune-away while the UE is in a long-term evolution (LTE) active mode, the UE including a plurality of receive chains, comprising:
selecting a UE receive chain from the plurality of receive chains for performing the 1× tune-away, wherein the selecting comprises:
determining that the LTE active mode is using all LTE-designated receive chains from the plurality of receive chains;determining that the UE is not in a marginal 1× coverage area; and performing the 1× tune-away a satellite navigation system-designated receive chain at least partly in response to the determining that the LTE active mode is using all LTE-designated receive chains from the plurality of receive chains and that the UE is not in the marginal 1× coverage area. |
