PURPOSE:To vary the display magnification of a waveform at fine intervals by controlling the waveform to be enlarged or reduced by switching memories where data are read. CONSTITUTION:When coordinate data of each scanning line outputted by a multiplying means 6 coincides with the coordinate position of a scanning track on a cathode-ray tube 13 controlled by the driving circuit 14 for the cathode-ray tube 13, light is emitted on the display surface of the cathode-ray tube 13 at the coincidence position of the scanning line to display the waveform. At this time, variation based upon the magnification of a 2<n> series of coordinate data read out of a 1st memory 5 and variation based upon the magnification of a 2<n> series of coordinate data read out of a 2nd memory 23 can be selected for the enlargement or reduction of the display waveform. Consequently, the size of the display waveform can be varied at accordingly fine intervals. |
