摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To avoid release of SOF discharged from catalysts to the atmosphere to reduce SOF by arranging a main oxidizing device in the midst of an exhaust pipe of a diesel engine, connecting an auxiliary oxidizing device to the exhaust pipe through a branch pipe, arranging a main shut-off valve in the exhaust pipe, and arranging an auxiliary shut-off valve in the branch pipe. CONSTITUTION:A main oxidizing device 11 having an oxidation catalyst 19 is arranged in the midst of an exhaust pipe 42 of a diesel engine 40. An auxiliary oxidizing device 12 having a filter 23 and an oxidation catalyst 24 is connected to the exhaust pipe 42 in the downstream of the main oxidizing device 11 through a branch pipe 16. A main shut-off valve 13 is arranged in the exhaust pipe 42 in the downstream of a connection of the branch pipe 16, and an auxiliary shut-off valve 14 is arranged in the branch pipe 16. A computer 15 opens and closes the main and auxiliary shut-off valves 13, 14 to switch the paths of exhaust gas to reduce SOF discharged from the diesel engine 40, depending whether the temperature of exhaust gas is low, the temperature is raised from low temperature to high temperature, or the temperature is high.</p>
