<p>PURPOSE:To make a structure small in size and easy to be installed in a simple manner as well as to enable positive sealing by pressing the outer diameter of a thermostat into the cylindrical thin wall section made of resin, which is equipped with a switching section making use of a bi-metal deformiable by snap action due to change in temperature. CONSTITUTION:A thermostat 5 is pressed into the thin wall section 8 of a cylindrical housing 6 made of resin having both a thick wall section 7 and the thin wall section 8, an installing plate 9 is concurrently engaged with the thin wall section 8, and the opening section of the housing 6 is constituted to be sealed with molding material 12 thereafter so as to be hardened. The hole diameter 13 of the installing plate 9 is coupled with the outer diameter 14 of the thin wall section 8 of the housing 6, the outer diameter 12 of the thermostat 5 is pressed into the inner diameter 11 of the thin wall section 8 of the housing 6 thereafter. Then, the outer diameter 14 of the thin wall section 8 is forcively enlarged so as to be made greater than the hole diameter 13 of the installing plate 9. Hence, the installing plate 9 can be engaged with the thin wall section 8 of the housing 6 in such a way as to prevent the thermostat from coming out. Following which, the opening section of the housing 6 is sealed with molding material 12 thereafter so as to be hardened. By this constitution, a structure can be made small in size and easy to be installed in a simple manner, and it can thereby be positively sealed with on large scale equipment used.</p> |
