SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING BOIL-OFF GAS FOR A SHIP

The present invention relates to a system and a method for processing evaporated gas of a ship. Pressure of a storage tank storing liquefied gas is controlled to be kept constant to secure fuel flow of an engine. The system and method efficiently use the evaporated gas discharged from the storage tank to minimize sailing costs consumed for ship sailing. The present invention relates to a method for processing evaporated gas by a system for processing evaporated gas of a ship including a storage tank which stores liquefied gas, an engine which uses the evaporated gas discharged from the storage tank as fuel, a partial reliquefaction device which processes the leftover evaporated gas. The method comprises: a step of receiving the pressure of the storage tank measured from a pressure sensor which measures the pressure of the storage tank; and a step of adjusting the flow rate of liquefaction by adjusting the expansion valve of the partial reliquefaction device to keep a preset reference pressure through comparison between the received pressure of the storage tank and the preset reference pressure.
