A process for producing an appts. for contacting planar high frequency conductors with electronic components comprises: (a) forming a passivation layer (4,5) on the upper side (2) and under side (3) of a substrate (1); (b) opening a window (6) in the under passivation layer (5), and etching a recess (7) from the under side (3) into the substrate (1), the recess (7) extending to the passivation layer (4) on the upper side (2) or up to an etch stop layer on the upper side (2); (c) forming a metal layer (8), a dielectric layer (9) and a further metal layer (10) on the upper side (2) on top of the passivation layer (4); (d) structuring the metal layer (10) to form a planar conducting pattern, whereby in the area of the recess (7) at least one conductor ends over the recess or covers this; (e) structuring the lower metal layer (8) corresp. to the upper metal layer (10) before forming the dielectric layer (9) in the area of the recess (7); and (f) sepg. or sawing, or sawing and sepg. the substrate in such a way that self-supporting tongues each having a conductor end are formed through the recesses. Also claimed is (1) a process in which (a)-(c) are the same in which: (d) the conductor ends over the recess (7); (e) the lower metal layer (8) is structured corresp. to the upper metal layer (10) in the area of the recess (7); and (f) the dielectric layer (9) and the passivation layer (4) or the dielectric layer (9), the passivation layer (4) and a residual thin substrate layer above the etch stop layer (20) are structured in the area of the recess in such a way that the conductor ends above the recess consist of self-supporting tongues at least with metal layer (8), dielectric layer (9) and metal layer (10); and (2) the appts. for contacting planar high frequency conductors with electronic components.
