A composition, process and method for treating grass through foliar application. The composition comprises an aqueous solution prepared by the process of mixing urea and a metal source comprising at least one metal compound selected from the group consisting of the sulfates of iron, magnesium and manganese. The method of treatment comprises the steps of preparing a composition made by the process of reacting urea and a liquid solubilizer with the metal source, and applying the solution to the grass foliage. Green coloration of the foliage is enhanced with rapid response after treatment. The treatment does not significantly promote growth of the grass. |
