PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen resistance against an interference wave leaked from an adjacent channel by reproducing symbol timing when it is discriminated continuously predetermined times the relative relation between two samples of digital data separated for one symbol cycle is closer to the relative relation between symbols. SOLUTION: The base band signals of in-phase I and orthogonal Q channels are converted to digital data (DiD) by an A/D converter 5 through the N-times over sampling an integer more than '2' per symbol cycle. Next, two samples DiD separated for one symbol interval are divided through a register 6 by a divider 7, the DiD closer to the symbols are detected from the divided result by a symbol condition discriminating part 8, and the number of times of detection is counted by a counter 9. When such data are detected continuously predetermined times, the symbol timing is generated with two samples of sampling clocks closer to the symbols as a reference. Thus, a malfunction can be reduced even on phasing conditions. |
