PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of solvent more by utilizing graphite grains, which is chemically denaturated by fluorine, chlorine, iodine or phosphorus, for electrode of a Li/graphite electrochemical battery. SOLUTION: A metal lithium foil is used for an anode 2, and the graphite powder, which is obtained by heating high-purity graphite powder at 34 micron of mean grading at 1000 C in the argon atmosphere and which includes an active part to be stabilized by chemical reagent and in which surface chlorine group is generated on the basic and hydrophobic surface thereof, is used for a cathode 1. The electrolyte 3, which is obtained by mixing LiPF6 at 1 mole in diethyl carbonate at 50weight% and ethylene carbonate at 50weight% as the solvent, is used. The graphite powder is mixed in cyclohexane with polyvinylidene fluorine binder at 5weight% and the conductive carbon black, which is not intercalated, at 4weight% so as to form the slurry. This slurry is casted on a nickel foil so as to form a film on an electrode. |
