MULTI CELL STENT HAVING DIFFERENT CHARACTERISTIC CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multicell stent of having cells of different types by providing the stent with the different cells including the cells which provide large flexibility in a longitudinal direction after arrangement. SOLUTION: The stent 10 comprises the structural cells 11 and the expandable cells 12. The respective cells 11, 12 are formed of perpendicular struts 13 respectively having two curved ends 17 and the respective ends are coupled to the diagonal struts 14. The perpendicular struts 13 are coupled by horizontal H bars 13. Some of the perpendicular struts 13 are coupled by waveform S- shaped struts 16 forming the circumferential parts of the expandable cells 12. The stent 10 is diffused and is formed to the stent 10' after the arrangement. The S-shaped struts 16 of the stent 10 before the arrangement exhibit the flexibility made higher than the flexibility of the stent 10 to facilitate the arrangement. The Sshaped struts 16 are made longer than the H bars 15 in such a manner, by which the circumferential length of the cells 12' is made longer than the circumferential length of the cells 11', by which the expansion of the cells 12' by the arrngement of ballon is facilitated.
