PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To beautifully arrange plural images as a whole even without previously designating positions to arrange images with a cursor by determining the arranging positions on an output area for each pixel corresponding to a counted number. SOLUTION: When printing on the rear face of a post card is instructed from an input device 5, a CPU 1 reads out the contents in a document memory 2-2, converts document data to a character font and converts an image file name to a correspondent illustration name while referring to an image memory 2-3. Then, when output object images are selectively designated one by one is order to arrange out the illustrated images more than one ot two on the rear face of the post card, the number of these images is counted and layout information showing how the images are to be arranged based on the number is read out of a layout memory 206 through an address table 2-5. Therefore, only by simply selectively instructing the output object images, the images can be outputted in the state of arrangement optimum for the number. |
