摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge a battery up to a satisfactorily full charged state even if battery capacity has comparatively dripped after being left unused for a comparatively long time. SOLUTION: A battery 7, a charger 9 and an integrated discharged amount detecting means 18, which integrates and detects amount discharged from the battery 7 to electrical equipment 3, are provided on a small electric vehicle. The charger 9 is provided with a first discharged amount supplying means 22, which charges the battery 7 full by charging amount corresponding to the integrated discharged amount, and a second discharged amount supplying means 23, which presumes discharged amount before charging the charged amount integrated from the start of charging until the terminal voltage of the battery 7 reaches a first specified value and supplies charging amount required from the first specified value to full charge, based on such presumed discharged amount. When the difference between actual charging amount integrated from the start of charging by the first discharged amount supplying means 22 until the terminal voltage of the battery 7 reaches a second specified value and standard charging amount integrated until it reaches the second specified value based on the integrated discharged amount is more than a specified value, the second discharged amount supplying means 23 is changed over so as to charge the battery.</p>
