PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record and/or reproduce a memory incorporated in the cassette without loading each recording medium cassette into drive. SOLUTION: This is the cassette delivery mechanism 9 for delivering the recording medium cassette 2 with a cassette housing part for housing the recording medium cassette 2, and is provided with a recording/reproducing device 20 for the memory incorporated in the cassette, having a connector 41 to be in contact with a memory terminal provided on the recording medium cassette 2 for the purpose of recording and/or reproducing the memory incorporated in the recording medium cassette 2.
