<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the pointing device which has return precision of a pointer or cursor and small malfunction due to vibration, etc., as to a device which moves the pointer or cursor to an arbitrary position on the display device of a computer. SOLUTION: A housing 5 has a bearing recess 54, a guide wall part 52, and a spring seat 53, a holder 61 has a spherical projection 64, which can be fitted in the bearing recess 54, and a depression rib 65, and a slider 71 has a cylinder body 73, which can slide along the guide wall part 52, and a depression part 75 which can abut against the depression rib 65 of the slider 71; when the slider 71 is biased by a coil spring 72 clamped between the housing 5 and slider 71 to slant the holder 61 through a dome-shaped operation part 63, a displacement quantity detector detects the tilt direction of the holder 61.</p> |
