PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane separation indicator and a lane separation indicating body capable of promoting visibility efficiently in the night time, also maintaining high visibility with contact with cars and almost eliminating maintenance. SOLUTION: A fluorescent substance is contained in the surface of a lane separation indicating body 1, and the fluorescent substance is excited by electromagnetic waves emitted from a light source 2 to emit. Thereby, the surface of the lane separation indicating body 1 is brightly lighted up, visibility in the night time is promoted, in comparison with the conventional one sticking a return reflection sheet thereon, it is excellent in durability, the luminous efficiency is not extremely damaged even by contact with cars, and in comparison with the conventional one illuminated with a lighting equipment, since the surface itself of the lane separation indicating body is brightly lighted up to highly form a contrast with the circumference, it is easily conspicuous and is excellent in visibility, and in comparison with the conventional one mounting the light source to the inside of the lane separation indicating body, execution and maintenance can be easily carried out. |
