PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically make the operation schedule of a power system for inexpensively operating the power system by satisfying all restrictions to be taken into consideration in operating the power system. SOLUTION: A demand and supply planning device for power system is provided with an initial operation schedule preparing means 12 which prepares such an initial operation schedule that satisfies the demand supply balance of power and restrictions not covering more than one generator by using the Lagrangial relaxation method and an operation schedule correcting means 13 which discriminates the presence/absence of restriction contravention across generators in the initial operation schedule and, when restriction infringement exists, genically expresses the contraventional operating state correcting time and generators, calculates the adaptability of each gene, and successively prepare genes of next generations by performing gene recombination. Then the means 13 judges whether or not the prepared genes advance to the maximum generation and, when it is judged that the genes converge, selects the operation schedule corresponding to the gene having the highest adaptability out of the remaining genes of the maximum generation. |
