PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a vehicular seat, which can certainly open only the nominal joint parts without bringing about degradation of the appearance. SOLUTION: A reinforcing sheet S1 is provided on the rear surface of the gore part 17 of a vehicular seat, and because the sheet S1 has a strength higher than the gore part 17 and also an expansiveness not more than the gore part 17, the inflating force of the air bag concerned 10 is received by the sheet S1 , and no force will act directly on the gore part 17. Therefore, the gore part 17 will never be ruptured in any part on the way other than the joint parts H1 and H2 . As the air bag 10 spread forward, the rupture is made certainly from the nominal joint part H1 situated in front. There is no risk either that the appearance is degraded because the reinforcing sheet S1 is located on the back of the gore part 17. |
