<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling of various sized media by forming an image drum out of an image receptor having a lip part which receives an end of a medium and a movable stopper which is arranged on a receptor for receiving a second end of the medium for allowing holding of the various sized media and is held magnetically. SOLUTION: An image drum 110 in a lathe bed scanner comprises a cylindrical body 310 whose both ends are to be sealed by end boards 320. In an inside part 350 of the cassette 310, four annular magnetic 360 (360-360d) are embedded over the whole periphery of the body 310. Each magnet 360 contains a plurality of both poles (S pole and N pole) arranging on it alternately. At the periphery on an outer face 330 of the cassette 310, two movable metallic rings 370a and 370b are arranged. Each of them is sucked by the magnetic 360 to be held at a predetermined position. For example, when a receiver material narrow in width is to be received, the rings 370a and 370b are respectively moved to positions corresponding to the magnetic 360a and 360b.</p> |
