PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicinal composition which increases sustainability of an active ingredient in blood, possesses excellent movalility to tissues and is effective for improvement of a variety of nervous symptoms by combination of a vitamin B1 derivative or its salt and a specific compound. SOLUTION: As this composition, a vitamin B1 derivative or its salt and idebenone are simultaneously used. By this combination, conversion of the vitamin B1 derivative or its salt absorbed from digestive tract into thiamine with SH compounds in blood is suppressed and movement to target tissues such as nervous tissues is increasable. The vitamin derivative (salt) and idebenone are formulated in amounts of 1-500 pts.wt. and 1-500 pts.wt., respectively. As the salt of vitamin B1 derivative, fursultiamine hydrochloride is particularly preferable. This medicinal composition is particularly effective for nervous symptoms caused by Alzheimer's disease. |
