PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run-on strip that can be manually adjusted more simply and quickly and mounted on a protection hood in such a manner as to enable smooth movement. SOLUTION: A run-on strip provided with a clamping mechanism for fitment to a vertical guide of a protection hood for a wood milling machine in such a manner as to be adjusted vertically, wherein a rod having the clamping mechanism adjustably mounted thereon extends outwardly of the clamping mechanism, wherein the clamping mechanism comprises a sliding block 58, can be secured to the vertical guide and is provided with a horizontal bore, and wherein a rod is installed in this horizontal bore so as to move longitudinally against the force of a spring in such a manner as to manually rotate from a first return stop position to a second return stop position which is rotated 90 deg. therefrom. |
