PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer composition that can bring about excellent dimensional stability and sealing property, low permanent compression set, etc., and useful for window glass gaskets, etc., by including a vulcanized blend of a specific rubbery polymer, thermoplastic resin and polyhydric alcohol. SOLUTION: This polymer composition used for seals and gaskets is obtained by blending (A) a rubbery polymer which contains recurring units derived from (A11 ) butyl acrylate, (A2 ) methyl or ethyl(meth)acrylate, (A3 ) acrylonitrile, (A4) styrene and (A5 ) a cross-linking agent, such as 1,4-butanediol, (B) a thermoplastic resin, such as styrene/ethylene-butylene/styrene block terpolymer resin, and (C) a polyhydric alcohol, such as triethylene glycol, and vulcanizing the blend at 100-220 deg.C under sharing condition by dynamic vulcanization or the like. |
