PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the sufficiently low inner resistance between a collector electrode of the large capacity double layer capacitor and a capacitor terminal. SOLUTION: A collector electrode made of a positive and negative polarizing electrode and metallic foils or nets leading-out a load from the electrode and another collector electrode made of separators are held by an electric double layer capacitors 5 connecting to outer terminal part while the bundle of collector electrodes 6 are held by metallic sheets 4 so as to connect the bundle of the collector electrodes 6 to the capacitor outer terminal part or inner subterminal part by the metallic sheets 4. At this time, the welding step is performed by pressure welding the metallic sheets 4 holding the bundle of the collector electrode after making even of the end faces of the bundle of the collector electrodes by cutting off the front ends.
