PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where the reflectance of a toner patch is accurately detected regardless of temperature. SOLUTION: Reflected light from the first area of toner unstuck area is detected by a light receiving element, and a yellow toner patch is formed on the second area of an intermediate transfer body based on data from a toner patch data storing part 412, and the reflected light from a patch is detected by the light receiving element 152. Then, the emitted light quantity of a light emitting element 151 is made same as the light quantity detected from the first area of the toner unstuck area. A detected result, the detected result from the first area of the toner unstuck area previsouly measured and the reflectance data of the first area stored at the data storing part 411 are compared and calculated, so that the detected result of the toner patch is converted into the reflectance of the toner patch. |
