PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for anti-sense controlling the expression of PG mRNA by intedrating a recombinant DNA structural body containing a polygalactulonase(PG) DNA sequence encoding a specific amino acid sequence into a genom of a plant cell in a reversely oriented direction. SOLUTION: This method for anti-sense controlling a gene expression is a method for adjusting the expression of a gene in a plant cell, and is to adjust the expression of PG mRNA in the plant cells by integrating a recombinant DNA structural body containing a part of a polygalactulonase(PG) DNA sequence characterized as containing a base sequence encoding an amino acid sequence represented by the formula, into a plant cell genom, of which sequence is linked in a reverse orientation against a standard orientation for the expression to a functional transcription initiating domain in the plant, transcripting the anti-sense PG RNA sequence in the plant cell loaded with the structural body as capable of operating, and growing the plant cell containing the integrated structure body so as to transcript the anti-sense RNA therethrough. |
