<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce waterproof deodorant paper containing a highly deodorant component by a chemical reaction which is added effectively afterward by a method in which at least half of fiber components to be used is synthetic fibers containing fusion bonding fibers, and a porous substance having a deodorant function is incorporated between the fiber components. SOLUTION: At least 50% of fiber components to be used is synthetic fibers such as polyester fibers and polypropylene fibers containing fusion bonding fibers such as composite fibers of polyester fibers and modified polyester fibers. By constituting a part of the synthetic fibers from flame-retardant synthetic fibers, the flame retardation can be improved. A porous substance having a deodorant function such as active carbon having physical adsorption power and zeolite having ion exchange adsorption power is incorporated between the fiber components. The fusion bonding fibers are melted by drying heat, etc., during paper making, and the fiber components are fusion bonded to each other to produce deodorant paper with good water resistance.</p> |
