PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To individually perform underwater walking considered as optimum for health improvement and body weight reduction in a narrow space and to indicate an optimum momentum corresponding to the conditions of individuals. SOLUTION: This walking device is provided with a base body 1 and a pool tank 2 for storing water is disposed at the center of the base body 1. A walking body 5 is disposed at the inner bottom part of the pool tank 2, and for the walking body 5, a driving roller 7 is driven by the drive of a motor disposed inside the base body 1 and an endless belt 9 is circularly driven in the direction of an arrow A as a result. A walker 4 walks on the endless belt 9 circulated in the direction of the arrow A and is forced to walk on the walking body 5 assuming that he/she advances in the direction of the arrow B. Further, the flow-out port 14 of the water is disposed to the pool tank 2 for storing the water and the walker 4 walking in a walking direction (direction B) on the belt 9 is forced to walk on the belt 9 in the state of opposing a stream in the direction of the arrow C made to flow out from the flow-out port 14. |
