PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a thin type highly efficient induction coil range. SOLUTION: An induction cooking range contains an upper plate comprising a glazed ceramic material built to house a container to be heated comprising a ferrite material and a single conductor induction coil 1' which is arranged below the upper plate on a coil support body while being excited by a high frequency current generator 4'. The induction coil 1' can make a heating at a higher temperature than the container owing to own loss while it 1' transmits own heat to the container 3. As a result, the total efficiency of the range increases noticeably. At this point, the induction coil 1' permitting a higher temperature is made up of a flat single conductor strip arranged between two mica sheets 6 and 7.
