PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an effective discount ticket when an article is repurchased and to improve efficiency by including a mechanism which verifies the validity of the discount ticket as to the method and system which adjust the discount of an article distributed through the network-connected computer system. SOLUTION: A user when purchasing an article generates and sends a purchase request to a vendor (202). The vendor generates a discount ticket which is effective to a later repurchase of an article, ciphers it, and sends the ciphered discount ticket to the user together with the article (204). The user deciphers the discount ticket and stores the discount ticket in the user computer system (206). When the user wishes to repurchase the article later, the user generates a request to repurchase the article and sends the repurchase request including the discount ticket to the vendor (208). |
