摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft connecting mechanism capable of surely and simply connecting shafts together and fixing them. SOLUTION: Radial fastening force Fr with respect to shafts 3, 13 becomes Fr=F/tanθ, from the angle θ of the tapered surface formed by the wedge shape end of wedge shape blocks 7, 17 and the axial fastening force F caused by bolts 9, 19. If the angle of the wedge shape end is set to be less than 45 deg., the radial fastening force Fr can be made stronger than the axial fastening force F. In other words, by tightening bolts 9, 19 in the axial direction, slippage is generated at the tapered surface formed by a hollow shaft 5 and the blocks 7, 17 and the radial fastening force Fr toward the shafts 3, 13 can be increased.
