PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone apparatus capable of automatically recording an answer or a response to a question of a speaker as memo information from voices during a speech.SOLUTION: A telephone apparatus including a speech recording function comprises: voice detection means for detecting a voice that is generated from an own apparatus side and a mating apparatus side; silence detection means for detecting silence as long as or longer than a fixed time from the voices generated by one of the own apparatus side and the mating apparatus side when the voices generated from the one side are detected; strength change detection means for detecting a change in the strength of voices, from the detected silence a predetermined time before; and interrogative sentence end determination means for determining whether the change in the strength of the voices from the detected silence the predetermined time before is a change in the strength of voices at an end of an interrogative sentence. If the change is determined as a change in the strength of voices at the end of the interrogative sentence, the voice detection means detects voices at the other side and stores the detected voices at the other side as a voice memo.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
