<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to grasp an image of the outward appearance of the lighting apparatus before optical designing and make the designing efficient by arraying image data on the lens element or lens element group of the lighting apparatus in the on-or off-state within the external frame of the lens, and generating and outputting the appearance shape model. SOLUTION: An image of a sample for lighting apparatus is picked up (S1) and the picked-up image is inputted to a computer (S2). Then basic image data are extracted and registered in a data base (S3). After the basic image data are arrayed on the grating of the external frame of the lens (S4), the outward shape model is generated by a rendering process (S5). Then a computer graphics display of the appearance shape model and printing by a color printer are performed (S6). Then it is judged whether or not corrections are made and when no corrections are made, the process is ended (S7). Consequently, the appearance image of the lighting apparatus can be grasped before its detailed optical designing, which can be made efficient.</p> |
