PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To average temperature distribution in the horizontal direction of each stage and the vertical direction of the same by distributing cold air from opposite ends of the deepest face of each stage and cooling preferentially the opposite ends which become high in temperature distribution, and exchanging upper and lower airs with stirring action of an air circulation fan. SOLUTION: Temperature in a freezing chamber 18 is detected, and when detected temperature is higher than on-set temperature, a compressor is operated, and when cumulative operation time of the compressor is within a predetermined time, an air circulating fan 30 is operated. It is judged whether temperature in a freezing chamber 17 is higher or lower than opening/closing set temperature, and when the temperature in the freezing chamber 17 is higher than the opening set temperature, a damper 25 is opened, cold air cooled through a condenser 20 is discharged from a cold, air discharge hole 44 located in the vicinity of opposite ends of each stage in the refrigeration chamber 17 through a cold air discharge duct 24 to average temperature in left and right directions of each stage. The cold air is circulated after passage through the air suction hole 31 and the discharge hole 32 with the operation of the fan 30 so that vertical temperature is averaged. |
