The flywheel is driven by the inertia effects of random movements of the portable radio alarm device. The power unit includes a storage facility for storing electrical energy generated by the electrical generator, the facility comprising a capacitor. The power unit incorporates a rectifier and a voltage control circuit adjusted to provide the alarm sensor and radio transmitter with a stable energy soruce. The alarm sensor is a button for activation by a user of the portable radio alarm device. The radio transmitter is part of a radiotransceiver. A receiver part of the radio transceiver emits an acknowledgement on receipt of an alarm situation. The power generator provides energy continuously to parts of the alarm device which must be permanently effective and stores energy generated over and above that required by the radio alarm device. |
