<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding equipment of a can body facilitating the mass production and capable of easily coping with the automatization. SOLUTION: An outer can 12 which houses an electrode body is installed within a work receiver 37 on a movable carriage 33 in the state closed with a cap 13. A laser beam is emitted from a tacked lens 40 and a joining part 15 in the close contact is spot welded at several points. The movable carriage 33 is moved, the laser beam is emitted with a pair of truly set lenses 45a arranged in both sides and the joining part 15 tacked in the close contact is seam welded. The movable carriage 33 is moved and turned 90 deg. with a direction changing mechanism 49, the laser beam is successively emitted with truly set lenses 45, 45c, and corresponding part of joining part 15 tacked in the close contact in the respectively corresponding section is seam welded. The outer a 12 and cap 13, the joining part 15 of which is seam welded all over the periphery, are transferred up to the discharging position on a transferring path 32.</p> |
