On at least one part of the surface of the gel-foil product an at least mainly layer-shaped connecting component is fixed to the foil. A part of the connecting component extends strip-shaped from the gel-foil product. The gel-foil product incorporates at least two foil layers connected to one another around the periphery of the quantity of gel. The connecting component is fixed over the complete surface of one of the foil layers. The gel in the hardened state has elastic and flexible properties, so that it is pliable under load. It actually contains a hardening substance.
