A method and apparatus for removing a stop - end from a concrete panel 5 during the construction of a diaphragm wall. An extractor tool 14 is provided with means 17,19 for attachment to the free face of the stop - end, such means being spaced relative to the main body of the extractor tool so as to tend to peel the stop - end away from the concrete panel as the tool is lowered relative thereto. Alternatively the attachment means may be provided with drive means which serve to change the spacing of the attachment means from the main body of the extractor tool, thereby peeling the stop - end from the concrete panel. The method results in less damage to the concrete panel than methods and apparatus which operate by driving a wedge between the concrete panel and the stop - end. |
