FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: fuel injector atomizer includes body, needle and heat-protective shield with orifices for passage of fuel in injection embracing the atomizer tip at clearance. Formed in body under heat shield are segment air cavities smoothly distributed over cylindrical surface of body and interconnected by means of additional circular air cavity. Bottom portion of shield forms separate air cavity isolated form other cavities and bounded by surfaces of tip and shield. Bottom portion of shield is provided with drain hole.
