The manually operated banana slicer is a band-operated cutting device for processing banana comprised entirely of a mainframe attached with a hand crank, an enclosed slicing chamber composed of a turntable with slicing blades, a feeder, a collection chute and a protective cover. The slicing action is primarily driven by the hand crank which rotates the turntable. The slicing blades attached to the turntable are made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and avoid food contamination. The blades can positioned and adjusted to make the desired slice thickness. Materials enter the slicing chamber through the feeder. A protective cover is installed to protect the operator from untoward accident and injuries. Sliced bananas are gathered in the collection chute ready for processing.
