PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device for a hybrid vehicle which makes it possible to smoothly control the fluctuation of the rotation in the idling state of the engine of a hybrid vehicle while making the operating state of a motor change smoothly. SOLUTION: The idling state of an engine 1 for propelling a vehicle is detected based on the changing speed ΔθTh of the opening of a throttle valve, and car speed VCAR, and the fluctuating amount of revolution ΔNE of the engine 1 is detected. Then, a fuzzy reasoning based on the fuzzy rule and membership function obtained from the fluctuating amount of revolution ΔNE of the engine 1 in an idling state determines the operating state of a motor 2 to control the fluctuation of the rotation of the engine 1. By driving the motor 2 based on such a determined operating state, the fluctuation to a decreasing side of the rotation of the engine 1 is controlled and so is the fluctuation to an increasing side of the rotation of the engine 1 by the regenerative operation of the motor 2. |
