PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming a plurality of images by a single image forming operation and making the removal of a jammed paper sheet easy. SOLUTION: Image forming process parts comprising electrifying chargers 50a and 50b, developing units 51a and 51b and transfer chargers 54a and 54b are arranged to correspond to two image forming positions Sa and Sb on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 47, respectively. Electrostatic latent images formed in the image forming positions Sa and Sb of the photoreceptor 47, by exposure scanning are developed by the image forming process parts and transferred to copying papers 352a and 352b fed to each carrying path, to form the images. When it is enough to use only the carrying path on one side, the carrying path on the front side is always selected, to form the image. In such a case, even if a paper sheet is jammed, an opening/closing door for maintenance on the front surface of a copying machine main body is opened to easily remove the paper jammed on the carrying path, because the paper is jammed on the front side. |
