PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type image forming device which can change the processing condition to the optimum condition according to the characteristic of a transfer member, and can obtain a good image regardless of the characteristic of the transfer member. SOLUTION: A transfer paper is housed to a paper cassette together with the packing, in the condition exposing only the part necessary to operate a paper feeding mechanism, of the packing a mark symbolising the characteristic of the transfer paper is written. A detector provided to a transcription machine main body detects this mark and discriminates the characteristic of the transfer paper. By controlling the rotation speed of a reverse roller 38Y according to the characteristic of the transfer paper, a developer film on a sensitive drum 30Y is changed to an adequate thickness. |
