PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) mode connector, wherein drift can be prevented by securely holding a contactor tip end part within housing. SOLUTION: This connector is equipped with a contactor 30 having a first shaft part 31 provided with a planar contact part 34 and a second shaft part decentered from the fits shaft part 31, a first housing 10 which supports the first shaft part 31 so as to be freely turnable, and a second housing 20 which supports the second shaft part 32 so as to be freely turnable and freely movable between a first position and a second position relative to the first housing 10. The contact part 34 parts from a contactor contact part 62 of a counterpart contactor 60, when the second housing 20 is in the first position and the first shaft part 31 makes turning motion centered around the second shaft part 32, and the contact part 34 is brought into pressure contact with the contactor contact part 62 when the second housing 20 is in the second position.
