The present invention relates to a phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) fusion protein, and to a use of the same. It has been confirmed that a PTEN fusion protein including a phosphatase domain (PD) which is a part of a PTEN protein and a C-terminal of a CFP-FKBP protein consisting of a fluorescent protein and FK506-binding protein (FKBP); a C2 domain (C2); and a C-terminal PDZ binding domain (PDZ-BD), is effectively used as a cell membrane by means of an artificial protein moving scheme (chemically-inducible dimerization) and selectively dephosphorylates PI(3,4,5)P3. The PTEN fusion protein can be utilized in studying a biological phenomenon in a cell by directly adjusting PI(3,4,5)P3, and can be utilized as an agent for treating diseases such as cancer induced by the mutation of PTEN or the overexpression of PI(3,4,5)P3. |
