The present invention relates to a security USB dongle. The security USB dongle according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a wireless communication unit which performs a local area wireless communication with a scanner; a universal serial bus (USB) connector which is connected to a computer in order to transceive data with a computer to transceive through a wireless communication unit; and a control unit which determines whether a scanner is a pre-designated designated and controls a wireless communication unit, wherein the control unit calls the unique information of a scanner to a scanner searched in a local area; transmits the unique information to a computer connected to a USB connector, receives time from a computer, generates the encoded data based on the time and unique information, and provides an effect of providing a security USB dongle capable of expanding the operating radius by connecting a scanner wirelessly and using a scanner. |
