The safety respiratory equipment has an inhaler mask (10), equipped with a regulator (20), which permits operation in a number of modes, by user selection. A repeater comprises a capture device linked by a transmitter device to a means of visible display of the operating mode to the user. The regulator (20) has a manual rotating switch which is turned by the user to change operation mode and the capture device capture or records the position of the switch by detection of deployment of internal elements of the regulator. It is also sensitive to the beginning of gas supply, gas pressure and gas mixture. The capture and repeat mode is activated when the mask is moved from storage position to operating position.
