PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell with its optimized shape dimensions, small-sized and high-output and high reliability. SOLUTION: A cylindrical cell of a solid electrolyte fuel cell has an air pole laminated in multi-layer and cylinder shape, a solid electrolyte layer and a fuel pole and an inter connector. Here, a cell outer diameter D is set from 10 to 30mm. When the cell outer diameter is set to 10mm or more, high output of 50W or more with output per single cell of 900mm in effective length can be obtained. By setting the outer diameter to be 30mm or less, resistance in a circumferential direction being a current path can be reduced, therefore, high-output density over 0.2W/cm<2> can be obtained. |
