<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the confirmation of displayed contents and the operation of a touch panel even in the state of closing a lid. SOLUTION: A main body 21 of equipment is a paging receiver and is equipped with a display screen 22 in combination with the touch panel, and an open/close type transparent protection lid 24 is attached through an open/ close supporting part 23. At one part of the transparent protection lid 24, a lid movable part 25 is provided. When its own address is received by a radio signal and a message is displayed on the display screen 22 in combined with the touch panel simultaneously with calling due to a speaker 27, since the protection lid 24 is transparent, the contents of the message can be watched while closing the lid. Further, by pushing down the lid movable part 25, a movable part projection 26 presses a switch on the display screen in combination with the touch panel, alarm operation can be stopped while closing the lid, and the equipment can be immediately operated.</p> |
