<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by automatically turning a power source to an ON state just by pulling out an antenna to the outside of a main body and making communication possible even when the antenna is housed inside the main body. SOLUTION: When a power source state detection circuit 10 detects a power source OFF state, and the antenna 5 inside the main body (a) is pulled out the main body, an antenna state detection circuit 8 detects the change and sends out the detection signals to a power source control circuit 11. Then, the power source control circuit 11 switches the power source to the ON state and the communication becomes possible by performing a call origination/ termination operation. Also, when the antenna 5 pulled out of the main body (a) is housed inside the main body (a), the antenna state detection circuit 8 detects the change and sends out the detection signals to the power source control circuit 11 but the power source control circuit 11 maintains the power source in the ON state without turning OFF the power source. Thus, even in the state of housing the antenna 5 inside the main body (a), the communication is made possible by performing a call origination/termination operation.</p> |
