<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot water supply device capable of being used even in a region where supply water pressure is low by providing a junction passage such that warm water and cold water are joined substantially in the same direction and a flow speed of the cold water in the vicinity of an upstream side of the junction point of the warm water and the cold water is larger than that of the warm water. SOLUTION: There are provided in a hot water heater 1 a water supply passage 2 for supplying cold water, a first passage 1a and a second passage 1b connected downstream the water supply passage 2, and a cold/warm water mixing member 4 at a downstream end of the first and second passages. Herein, warm water from the first passage 1a and cold water from the second passage 1b are joined substantially in the same direction so that pressure loss at the warm/cold water mixing member 4 is restricted. Further, a flow speed of the warm water flowing into the warm/cold water mixing member 4 is less than that of the cold water flowing into the warm/cold water mixing member 4 and the flow speed of the cold water is accelerated by a tapered hole part disposed in the vicinity of an upstream side of the joint point so that desired ejector effect is ensured. Thus, the flow rate of the warm water through the first passage 1a is increased to increase the whole flow rate.</p> |
