TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly durable toner for developing an electrostatic charge image giving a high grade image free from fog and scatter in any environment, capable of highly satisfying fixability and anti-offsetting property while maintaining high developing performance and not causing fusion and sticking to a developer carrier. SOLUTION: This toner contains at least a bonding resin, low mol. wt. wax and an electric charge controlling agent. When the weight average particle diameter of this toner is represented by X(μm) and the number percentage of particles each having <=3.17μm particle diameter is represented by Y(number %), the particle size distribution of this toner satisfies the conditions -5X+35<=Y<=-25X+180 and 3.5<=X<=6.5. The low mol.wt. wax has two or more heat absorption peaks by differential thermal analysis (DSC) and the max. peak is positioned on the lower temp. side than the next peak.
